K-Laser Testimonial From Patients and Doctors

Laser Therapy Offers Pain Relief

My first exposure to the K-Laser was in February 2007, when I took a patient of mine to Dr. Hall's office in Modesto. She is 72-years-old and has chronic neck and left shoulder/scapular pain secondary to advanced degenerative disc disease and osteoarthritis of the cervical spine.

For the past 8-months her pain had been constant and varying from "7 to 9" on the "0 to 10 pain scale." She had been living a miserable existence with this pain, with an inability to rest/sleep. Within a 12-minute treatment with the K-Laser applied over her neck, upper back and left shoulder region she rated her pain at a level "1."

This was rather hard to believe, but I have known this patient for over 25-years and I had been failing her with treatment by me, only being able to drop the pain a point or two for a few hours to a day and then it was back up. Ultra sound, TENS, deep tissue massage, Gonstead Adjustments and use of an adjusting instrument were all the treatment option I could offer and these methods gave very little relief.

I spoke with my patient the following day, as I was curious of the lasting effects. She reported having slept an entire night for the first time in over 8-months, and on waking in the a.m. was pain-free. Needless to say, I had to have more information. By March 1, 2007 I had completed my training and had my own K-Laser.

Since getting the K-Laser I have been more excited than any other time in my 35-year practice. I not only have the ability to reduce the pain complaints very quickly with the spinal injuries and complaints, but I have something to offer the patient with all the extremity complaints I could do very little with up to this time.

What I have experienced within these last two-weeks using the K-Laser is simply unbelievable

The K-Laser has invigorated me along with my practice in a way I could never have imagined. This has to be the greatest break through that could revolutionize the chiropractic profession within a couple of years as more doctors realize the amazing benefits this modality will add to our approach to Chiropractic and the correction of spinal fixations and subluxations.

What I have experienced within these last two-weeks using the K-Laser is simply unbelievable. I would hope that the leaders of this profession direct their attention to the benefits of the K-Laser, embrace it and expose every D. C. as quick as possible. The public will overwhelmingly flood our offices in a way that is unimaginable.

After all, the public just wants relief of pain and increased function, so that they can purse their life's interest comfortably without the distraction of pain and disabilities. I think we can accomplish this with the K-Laser added to our treatment options. Quite frankly, it will minimize most modalities we have been using, as they will be nearly obsolete compared to the effective response of the K-Laser.

Sincerely,
James  D.C.

 Chiropractor offers K-Laser Treatments

I was born in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin in 1930. Dr. Gonstead was my doctor from birth. He was also my mentor and guided me all through Palmer College and meentored me in his teachings. I started my practice in Wisconsin in February 1955. Yes, that equates to about 52 years.

During all the years of my practice, I have always been happy with my results as a Chiropractor and enjoyed helping sick people get well, but there was always certain conditions I could do nothing for or only help them partially.

One day a few weeks ago Dr.  called me and asked me to come to his office to see something new. It immediately excited me when I saw the results he was getting on conditions such as I mentioned above.

I bought the K-laser as soon as possible. The results I have had and the happiness it has brought to my patients is mind boggling.

I can not give you examples of specific cases because they are so numerous. I have had excellent results treating arthritic knees, shoulders, hands, as well as carpal tunnel, tennis elbows and on and on.

I will say this, if you are a chiropractor and enjoy getting sick people well, a K-Laser is a must in your practice. You and the world will be better for it.

Sincerely,

Dr. gives Kudos to K-Laser

The Studio Class IV K-Laser

Please permit me to introduce myself; my name is Lorene DC, QMF, of Merced and Fresno California. I have been a licensed chiropractor for over 12-years, a Qualified Medical Evaluator and an independent Medical Examiner for 4-years. I would like to share with you something that has changed my way of thinking and my way of practicing chiropractic.

At times I perform vacation relief for doctors in the central valley. On one occasion, I babysat a clinic in which the doctor saw approximately 300 patients a week. Yes, that is no typo.

In my practice, which is trying to rebuild since the worker's compensation reform, I see approximately 30 - 40 patients per week. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to notice there's a big difference, and believe me my right elbow knew it. I developed severe tendonitis after three-days.

On day five, picking up my toothbrush was a major undertaking. So, I did what any chiropractor would do, I got an adjustment, several in fact with minimal to no relief. I then employed ultrasound, myofascial release, and even acupuncture to no avail. So when I was approached for a demonstration of the K-laser, I had nothing to lose but pain. In less than 4-minutes, the pain was gone. Amazing right? Not really.

"If the Investigational Review Board (IRB), which answers to, the FDA thinks the K-laser has enough merit to approve its use, shouldn't you?"

A couple of months ago I was given the opportunity to utilize the K-laser on a stroke patient, which was being treated at Stanford Hospital & Clinics. He had the typical signs of a recent stroke, right leg foot drop/paralysis, right-sided aphasia, right arm loss of strength and sensation, right shoulder range of motion. I was informed that he had 95% occlusion, not even the doctors at Stanford would perform surgery on him.

He heard about the K-laser and wanted to try it. To make a long story short, he returned to Stanford after approximately six treatments with the laser, therapeutic exercise and chiropractic care. Upon greeting his doctors, the patient reached out and shook his doctors hand with his right hand. The doctor could not believe that this was the same patient who had had a stroke three months earlier. Not only did he have grip strength, range of motion, a slight foot drop and only a hint of aphasia, his occlusion after testing was less than 1%. Now that's amazing!

I'd like to end this with a little side note. I recently became certified to administer cold laser therapy in the treatment of smoking, drug and alcohol cessation and weight loss. The FDA has not yet approved this therapy.

Apparently, the FDA has decided, however, that the cold laser holds enough promise in these treatments to place it under investigation. The cold laser of choice is normally a category III laser. When I demonstrated that my K-Laser, a category IV laser had the ability to downgrade to a category III laser, the IRB approved its use in these treatments. What's my point?

If the IRB (Investigational Review Board), which answers to, the FDA thinks the K-laser has enough merit to approve its use, shouldn't you? Shouldn't the chiropractic profession? I believe that this is an asset that the chiropractic profession should endorse, for our own future, and for the good of our patients.

Sincerely,
Lorene D.C. QME

No Pain, No Wobble

The laser treatments are now taking effect on my sciatica. The treatments (2) combined up with staying off my feet seem to be nothing short of a miracle. I'm beginning to walk without the pain and the 'wobble'.

Thanks,

Cold Sore Treatment

While it may seem like a trivial matter, having a cold sore develop during the holidays is no laughing matter.

After a brief discussion with Laura,  Laser Therapy Technician, about treatment of her own cold sore with Laser Therapy, when I woke up with a new cold sore, just a few days later, I knew exactly what to do. I called and made an appointment.

Laura was able to treat me that same day and my cold sore was barely detectible afterwards. I was thrilled. The cold sore healed completely in just a few days but I experienced very little of the normal discomfort associated with one.

I was especially pleased because my cold sore didn't develop into an oozing festering mass and it did not scab over during the healing process. I had a tiny little bump on my lip that was very tolerable. Thank you Laura! This is one tip I will remember.

Annie,

Diagnosed with Lyme, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Severe Joint Pain

I have had Lyme disease for 7 years. It has been very debilitating and has caused severe pain in my joints, 24/7, especially at night.

I was only diagnosed 18 months ago, and had been treated by Dr. Hall for a few years and he has helped with my low back pain and keeping alignment in order. I have restless leg syndrome also and interrupted night sleeping.

"Since the start of the Laser treatments my pain level in my knees has been tremendously reduced."

In July 2006 I started Laser Therapy at Dr. suggestion. 3 years ago I had a total knee replacement as Lyme disease causes joint degeneration. The other knee has been in terrible pain also. Since the start of the Laser treatments — my pain level in my knees has been tremendously reduced.

My arm joints — could hardly lift my arms up — are now completely healed and functional. My night pain is so much better. My Lyme disease doctor supports this therapy and feels it has made a difference — I am into this new program!

I also wanted to say thank you to Dr. for his genuine concern for his patients, his honesty and dedication to health care and his willingness to educate himself in being open to new treatments.

Fibromyalgia & Rheumatoid Arthritis

I am a 52-year-old wife, mother of 2 & grandmother of a 2-year old and a 6-month old. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia some time ago. If you have the misfortune of being diagnosed with either one of these conditions, or as myself, both of these, you know the pain I went through day in and day out, 24/7, 365 days a year, was often almost unbearable.

Some days you can move a little more than others. Some days you can even smile, but most often it's a struggle to even think past the pain.

"I was no longer able to run and play with my precious grandchildren... It broke my heart! I cried a lot. I felt I had no control over my life anymore."

I would get up and go to work, barely making it through the day, just to go home and go to bed so I could get up and try to make it through another day of work. Life, honestly, was limited to just that. My work suffered, but I am fortunate to work for a very caring and understanding company. They brought in a recliner so I could lay down and rest on my lunch hour, which abled me to continue working.

The thing that broke my heart the most, was that I had lost the ability to do what matters most to me in this world, spending time with my grandchildren and my family.

I was no longer able to run and play with my precious grandchildren. They are the light of my life and couldn't understand why, "Mimi," (that is what they call me) didn't feel like playing anymore. They would come to see me, only to find that I was already asleep. It broke my heart! I cried a lot. I felt I had no control over my life anymore.

I have always been an outdoors person. Building fences, mowing the law cutting wood, etc. We did these things as a family. My husband, parents, children and grandchildren. It was very special to have all of us together doing things and a picnic, what more could you ask for?

But I could no longer do any of it.

I had a really bad spell a couple of weeks ago that had me getting out bed only to use the restroom, and I had to use a walker to do even that small task. My daughter was telling her mother-in-law about how bad I was and she told her about Dr. Hall and a laser procedure that was helping her and her mother. My daughter called me immediately. I, in turn, called Dr. Hall's office and they got me in the very next day.

"I worked on my flower beds. I cleaned my entire kitchen, I swept, mopped and vacuumed my floors."

I have to date had five visits with Dr. and five Laser Treatments. Amazingly, over the weekend, I felt good enough to go for a walk with my grandchildren. I was able to sit and play cards with my parents. I worked on my flower beds. I cleaned my entire kitchen, I swept, mopped and vacuumed my floors. I know this doesn't sound like much to you, but to me, it is a miracle. It means I am getting back in control of my life, with Dr. and his staff's help.

I almost cried, when I was outside with my little grandson and he looked into my eyes and said, "Mimi your body is feeling better huh?", with a great big smile on his face.

I have referred my mom, who has neuropathy in her feet, my brother, who has stenosis in the spine and my co-worker who has terrible pain in her neck, to Dr. My mom and brother have already had remarkable improvement after only two visits.

I can't say enough good things about the incredible health benefits I have experienced. It's turning my life around. I feel human again!!!

Sincerely,

Step Lively - Foot and Ankle Relief

Dear Dr.

"After one treatment, the pain my feet and ankles was greatly reduced."

Early this year I began to have a terrible burning sensation in my feet and ankles which was limiting my ability to walk, especially after sitting or sleeping. Most morning it would take at least an hour to limber up enough so that I could walk freely around the house without support. I was very worried that I was becoming disabled.

My local doctor referred me to Dr. who began low level laser therapy. After one treatment, the pain my feet and ankles was greatly reduced. Now after several treatments in a very short time, the stiffness in my feet and ankles and the painful burning sensation in my feet that I had for months is gone.

I am looking forward to future improvements in my good health by continuing treatments with Dr. Hall, his technicians and assistants.

Thank you Dr.

Chronic Arthritis

I am a 77-year-old patient of Dr. Hall, and taking Laser treatments on my knee. After the third treatment, I have seen relief in my knee and now I can say that I am almost pain free! I have cancelled my knee replacement surgery.

Thank you,

(This patient is diagnosed with chronic constant hip joint disease/arthritis.)

Steroid Treatments Ineffective

The Carpel Tunnel Syndrome I had been diagnosed with did not respond to the steroid treatments I had been given and now my only option was surgery. It was my desperate search for an alternative treatment that brought me to the office of Dr.

Here I was greeted by a wonderful, warm, caring staff and the assurance of Dr. that, indeed there was hope for me in the form of "Cold Laser" treatments. I am most happy to report that we have had much success in the use of the "Cold Laser" and look forward to a continuing relationship with Dr. and his staff.

Most Sincerely,

Dealing With Knee Surgery

"I can't believe the difference laser therapy has made."

I had knee surgery about five years ago. My knee has never quite felt the same since. I've had laser therapy on it and it feels younger than it did before my accident and before the knee surgery. I can run, I can walk. Stairs have become so much easier to manage. I can't believe the difference laser therapy has made.

Travis,

Numb Toes

From a very happy client...

In regards to the laser treatment that I received on my left foot. I was experiencing swelling and numbness in three toes. After the first treatment the swelling subsided in my ankle and by the third treatment feelings were coming back into my toes.

Hunter,
One very happy client!

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Relief

I was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) in 1991. I have had therapy for years without relief. Surgery was out of the question as the symptoms had changed.

The tips of my fingers have been numb since 1995. I had to quit bowling because I could not stand the pain of holding the ball. At night I slept with braces on my wrists, just so I could sleep. (In the hot summer nights, they would sweat and irritate the skin).

Then came the "Duke" of Chiropractic! On the first treatment, let me say this again... On the first treatment, I could feel the tips of my fingers on the right hand. The second treatment I could feel all the tips of my fingers! All I can say is... Doc hits what he aims at with his Laser and he gets results!

I am so grateful, that there is a man of his caliber wanting to help so many people with chronic pain. I think of all the time and money he has put into getting certified for his patients benefit and thank you is not enough!

He is the real deal...He is the "Duke" of the Chiropractic world!

Rusty,

Chronic Plantar Fascitis

Dr.

I can't thank you enough for the Laser treatments on my foot. I went from a pain level of 8, down to a level of 1 after only 2 treatments! Now after my third treatment, I'm pain free. Now I am walking on my foot pain free!

Thanks,
L.J.

(This patient is diagnosed with chronic constant Plantar Fascitis.)

Knee Injury Patient

Dear Andrew,

I am amazed at the results I got from your new laser therapy. 2 years ago when I injured my knee it took weeks of therapy to get the results I got in just one treatment with your new laser this time. Within 20 minutes, the swelling and pain was almost gone, I was walking normally within 1 hour. I'm so impressed that I'm telling my friends and family about it. I'm glad you found this technology.

Thanks again and
God Bless You.
Dwayne

Chronic Pain from Repetitive Movement Patient

Dear Dr.

I have had chronic pain in my thumb from constant keyboarding. I've tried ice, heat and exercise to alleviate the pain. Even the frequent adjustments you've done have only temporarily relieved the pain but it has always returned until now. Since the one laser treatment you administered to my thumb and the surrounding area I feel as though I've had a thumb transplant. Even with constant use, it gets a little tired but I've felt none of the pain I once had.

Thank you so much for providing this much needed therapy to our community. I can't begin to express how much I appreciate it.

Annette,

Sciatica

My name is Bruce O’Day and in May 2007 I began having symptoms of severe sciatica in my right leg.  The pain went from my buttocks down the outside of my right leg and was quite painful in my calf.  I had difficulty walking and being active.  In fact, I could not walk more then a 1 ½ blocks without stopping to rest.  I have been very active my entire life and became quite frustrated by my physical state.

In June 2007 I turned 70 and my wife surprised with a 10-day Alaska cruise for the both of us.  Unfortunately, I didn’t get to enjoy it because of the pain.  It was difficult walking the 900 foot ship for dinner, theater. If I stayed sedentary, the pain was less; however, I couldn’t enjoy the vacation with my wife.

After returning home, I went to my doctor to see what he could do for me.  He sent me to get an epidural in my spine.  I waited for the next couple of weeks for the pain to reside, however it never did.  I returned to my doctor one month later and was sent to a surgeon to review my MRI.  His diagnosis was surgery to remove part of the disk that was irritating the nerve.  I have friends who have had this surgery with little or no success.  I decided I didn’t want surgery without exploring my other options.

Upon research, I decided to ask a chiropractor for advice.  This is when I met J. Rod .  He suggested that I try laser therapy treatment.

After almost nine months of severe pain and near immobility, I began twice per week laser therapy treatments on January 17, 2008.  After one month Dr.  switched me to one laser therapy treatment every two weeks.

By later March, I was able to walk to the store, carry groceries and be active without pain.  It is now mid April and I am able to walk four mile s for exercise and bicycle eight to twelve miles round trip on the Sacramento River bike trail.  I’m able to enjoy being active again and pain free.  My health is better, I have lost weight, and my energy level is up from being active.  My only regret is that I didn’t meet Dr. McGinnis nine months earlier, if I had, I know I would have enjoyed my Alaskan cruise and been pain free for all of 2007.

  Bruce  4-16-2008

So many problems are seeing great results with chiropractic care combined with Class IV Laser therapy.  This is the same laser that was featured in the news recently.  Here’s what patients have to say about our laser:

Nearly two years ago I cut my arm and wrist on broken glass.  Two tendons and two nerves were severed.  After surgery I have had numbness and extreme localized hyper-sensitivity.  My surgeon told me it would be many years before I would be back to normal, and that the last sense to return would be that of hot and cold.  Shortly after the first treatment with the laser, I was surprised to be able to feel the cold of a door knob.  After only two weeks of treatments, the hyper-sensitivity in my hand has decreased, and the numbness has been mostly replaced with a tingling sensation.  I am excited to feel the progress as the treatments continue.

J.M. Lehi,

Nine years ago I had a test done on my lymph to rule out cancer.  It was the old kind of test that took most of lymph nodes from one arm pit to get a fair sampling of nodes.  I was left with lymphedema, and numbness from my arm pit to my elbow.    Since then I have had daily therapy to drain the fluid from my arm.

Dr. encouraged me to start laser therapy.  I was surprised at how easy and pain-free the treatments are.  The first thing I noticed was a deep ache all over my arm, but then on the third treatment, my arm pit started to sweat!  I haven’t had any sweat in that arm pit since the surgery.  During the sixth visit I noticed sensation below my elbow, and by the seventh visit I was having sensations around the outer edge of my arm pit.  My lymph system is working better, and I can’t wait to see what else improves during the next few visits!

L. B.

January of this year, I made a commitment to my family that I would accompany them on a trip to Nauvoo, Illinois.  After three failed surgeries to repair a knee tendon two years ago, I was still walking with a cane.  My back was paying a great price.  Time was moving on, our tickets were purchased, our reservations were made, yet my back seemed to be getting worse.  I simply didn’t know what to do.

I was driving through town one day and I thought about Dr.  and his “feel good bed”.  I wondered if it would help me.  When I went in, Dr.  said, “We have gone high tech, now.  We have this new laser that is working wonders on deep pain.”  I didn’t even hesitate.  I knew I needed help.

After three treatments I could walk without my cane.  I can now stand up straight and feel, oh, so much better.  And tomorrow we go to Nauvoo!
